1/31/12: Over the past few days you have been sleeping unswaddled. You are 100% acclimated to your crib. On Monday you began showing an interest in wanting to explore new things so you would lean your body towards an object and Mommy would let you touch it with your face since you haven’t really realized what your hands and arms do yet. On Tuesday, you really showed and interest in touching things – with your hands (instead of your face or tongue).

Last weekend we went to UCLA, this was your first major road trip outside of visiting YiaYia and Papou in Tucson. We drove to Los Angeles because Daddy had an interview with the business school. It was a short trip but you did terrific, you were such a sport on the car ride. Mommy fed you at some pretty shady gas station stops and in the parking lot of a Del Taco but you didn’t seem to mind.
2/10/12: You turned 4-months old on Friday and Mommy has learned to never make a doctor’s appointment on a day to be celebrating your life and how far you’ve come. The doctor’s visits are more stressful for Mommy than for you, but you don’t like them much either. I’m hoping to do as good of a job as YiaYia and Papouli did with me when I take you because I liked my pediatrician. I like yours too…it is just very stressful for Mommy.
You are making new sounds every day, including giggling, squealing and razzing. You touched your toes on purpose too! You are so much fun and I absolutely adore you. Love doesn’t begin to describe how we feel for you, you are so much more to us.

d. Papouli had his eyes dilated when we went to visit him and YiaYia in Tucson so he was playing around wearing YiaYia’s sunglasses and dancing with you.

f. Tired after a Friday night happy hour with the Peterson’s and their sons.
g. Not happy with mom taking pictures of you because you are hungry.
h. But giving mom a smile anyway because you are such a little sweetheart.
So cute! Glad I got to see him today and that I didnt read this before my visit. :o) It’s almost like i made you relive this post. Sorry about that… ha!
