Yesterday and today we took Lil B to the beach…again. We didn’t take him in the water but he certainly seemed to enjoy hanging out on both days. Today, our friends John and Laurie came down with their two boys who are 4 and 6. B loved watching them play in the sand. He also loved when Daddy and I took turns walking him down to the water. We joke that the ocean is a bigger version of his sound machine and that is why he gets so calm when we get closer. As long as the water doesn’t touch me or Daddy he remains calm. It has been a wonderful experience sharing this vacation with our little man.
I have really enjoyed his 9th month. He is growing up so fast and is starting to recognize and converse in his own way.
If you ask him where Daddy or Mommy or even Aunt GZ is he will look towards the correct person. He also knows fan and light as well as a few others. He also says “hi” by making the long “I” sound like “iiiiiiii,” while waving his arm up and down.
Below are some pictures from our beach day today. Daddy and John dared each other to go boogie boarding and it turns out they caught some good waves. John even had a couple of 360s. The water was very cold so both men are to be commended for their effort.
