Last week we drove to Greer, Arizona and stayed at the Greer Resort Lodge and Cabins. Lil B and I took turns driving. We are grateful to YiaYia and Papouli for treating us to the accommodations. It was really an amazingly beautiful place. Our cabin porch looked right out onto three ponds, the creek and bridges.
We watched hawks dive into the ponds each morning and pluck out trout. We fed the ducks and took many beautiful walks. Aunt GZ and Papalouli kayaked, YiaYia and Aunt GZ played badminton and one day we went on a bike ride through town. Lil B ate every meal with us every day and spent a lot of quality time with his grandparents. There were also a lot of early mornings because Lil B shared a room with me and Aunt GZ.
In the evenings just before the sun went down we would walk out under the gazebo looking out onto the ponds. The weather was just perfect. We could not have asked for a more beautiful place, it was so peaceful and relaxing. A much needed time for yours truly. Thank you Yiayia and Papouli, we had such a great time. We are so grateful we had the opportunity to spend last week with you. It was wonderful and surprisingly tranquil.
Looks like an awesome time. I think i need to go there and soak some of that up!
